  • Moving house

It has been a while since my last update (again). I know I am telling everyone that Australia is very relaxed so how come I never find a moment to sit down and write something for my blog? No excuses this time. Offcourse I am working fulltime which is busy and on top of that there have been some developments in our house hunt. We looked into the whole homeloan thing again recently and it appears that it is all possible as soon as I am working at Seed permanently. That should be no problem because I am really enjoying it and the results are great. End of October my probation period will end so then we can sort the homeloan out and buy our own house. Unfortunately the renting system is not the same as in Holland and you rent per year instead of per month. The rent of our house at Tarpeena Ave was ending in September and we had to extend for another year or leave. Since the homeloan should be sorted within the next two months we decided we'd rather leave and move in with the inlaws for just two months. Luckily enough they are happy to have us so we moved into the backarea of the house. It was an interesting move and it took us a whole weekend but now it is all sorted and we have our own little one room appartment and all our stuff which we don't need/use is stored in another room. It is actually quite nice because now I can watch TV from my bed! Keep looking at the positives... Soon I will post some new photo's from my shop because we had another window change and it looks so good! The weather is heating up over here and reaching 24 now during the day. Therefore our new shopwindow is a beachsetting with a jetty and lots of beautiful summer clothes. In the past two months there were two new additions to our friends families. Matt and Rachel had a little baby girl called Amy (yep, just like my little rabbit) and Mark and Shylie had a baby boy called William. They are happy with me working at Seed because that means really nice gifts. I would also like to mention a friend that I made a few months ago. Her name is Monika Agostino and she is from Germany. I met her as a customer in my store and she moved to Australia about four months ago with her family. She is married to a soccerplayer (the European football) and he is now playing for the Adelaide team. We grew quite close and are now meeting outside of work and she is just gorgeous. She has two little girls (Mia and Stella) and they are so cute! I am really happy that I met her and I really feel God had blessed me by giving me a friend who is in the same situation as I am and new to Australia too. Monika, if you read this: you're a legend and you mean lots to me! I promise this time it won't be long untill my next update!
